Grapevine Log Cabins is a Sparta Wisconsin Bed & Breakfast Inn for coulee region lodging with three private Sparta log cabins nestled in a pine setting on a small working dairy farm. Our log cabins have queen size beds, modern bathrooms, gas fireplaces, air conditioning and two cabins that both have lofts with two twin beds. Each cabin has been furnished with homemade quilts, comfortable chairs, a microwave and a refrigerator.
The Grapevine is a great getaway for all ages.
A continental breakfast will be in your cabin when you arrive; you can sleep in and eat at your leisure. While staying at the Grapevine you may choose to walk through the woods, cook out on the grill, use the picnic area, relax on the porch, or sit around a fire pit in the evening. We also have a library of DVDs that you may take to your cabin to enjoy.
The Grapevine Log Cabins are only 5 miles south of Sparta, which is known as the bicycle capital of America. We are located just a mile and a half from the La Crosse River State Trail, which connects the Sparta-Elroy State Trail with the Great River State Trail. We are located about 3 miles from Interstate 90. If you're interested in canoeing or kayaking, the Kickapoo, La Crosse, and Black Rivers are nearby. A large Amish community with shops and bakeries is located close by as well. Horseback riding, fishing ,golfing, choice restaurants are close by We are 20 miles from La Crosse with its great shopping, dining, and boat cruises on the Mississippi.
Our local festivals are Butterfest in Sparta during June and the famous Cranberry fest in Warrens in September. Winter fun includes snowmobiling, cross country snowshoeing, and downhill skiing.
